The ensemble options below are a great addition to any special event that would benefit from the classy ambience that beautiful music creates. Drawing from the best classic jazz repertoire, Janice meticulously programs musical selections that provide the perfect mix of charm and energy so that guests relax and really enjoy themselves.
Clients are welcome to choose from duo, trio or quartet formats, based on the size of their gathering, venue, budget and intent of the event.
JANICE FINLAY JAZZ DUO: This is comprised of Janice performing on saxophone, flute (and sometimes clarinet!), accompanied by guitar or piano. Perfect for truly intimate gatherings.
JANICE FINLAY JAZZ TRIO: The addition of a bassist to the duo creates a group that fits well in most settings.
JANICE FINLAY JAZZ QUARTET: The addition of drums to the trio rounds out the group and adds energy and an increased musical presence to the event. This group is frequently featured in concert settings, as well as at wedding receptions and corporate events.
